Dental off Chapel opened in 2006 to provide quality, personalised and
affordable dental care in the Prahran, South Yarra, Windsor and St Kilda
East areas. We offer comprehensive treatment plans to meet the needs of our
patients and are dedicated to providing patients with the detailed advice
required to make informed choices about their oral health. Since your smile
is so important, we offer a wide range of cosmetic dental treatments,
including teeth whitening and veneers.
Dr Mary Ellen Wilkinson B.D.Sc.(Melb), L.D.S.(Vic) is the practice principal and has over 25 yrs experience in general and cosmetic dentistry in Australia and overseas. She enjoys the variety of general dentistry and aims to create a friendly and relaxed environment for her patients. Dr. Wilkinson is an active member of the Australian Dental Association (ADA) and enjoys attending seminars and symposia that ensure her patients receive the best dental care.
She maintains a keen interest in women’s and family dentistry and has been involved in the training and education of dental assistants.
Dr. Helena Waks B. D.Sc.(Melb) has had 25 years experience as a dentist and joined Dental off Chapel in 2010. She is gentle, with great patience and listening skills, and spends time to explain dental issues and treatments.
She enjoys all aspects of general dentistry but especially the care of patients with special needs. Her focus is on quality dentistry and for many years she taught part time at Melbourne University’s Dental School.
Both Dr Wilkinson and Dr Waks are known for their caring and gentle dentistry and are assisted by a fantastic and dedicated team of dental assistants. We are a dental team that has your oral health and well being as our first priority.
